As a Lymphedema therapist, we are in a sense focused not just on aiding the drainage of protein rich lymph from areas of congestion, but we influence levels of inflammation. I was taught Vodder’s approach to Manual Lymphatic Drainage by Instructors at Klose Lymphedema training Center. I have found that Vodder’s MLD technique takes time to be effective, atleast 40 minutes for minimal results. I would like to suggest another tenant of treating inflammation: “It Takes Time”.
